The system utilizes GNSS satellite signals to gather vessel locations and transmits this data, bearing, speed, and optional BlueSenz sensor data to the TDS communication server. The VMS Terminal intelligently sends this information at predefined intervals through the GSM/GPRS terrestrial or Iridium satellite networks. This data is processed at the Telematic Data Aggregation server (TDS) and made available to third-party VMS Fisheries Monitoring Applications in a format compliant with EU, NEAFC, NAFO, and SEAFO regulations. Our VMS solution has been operational for over a decade and has been thoroughly tested to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
